Anteprima Description:
Cute and sophisticated are two words that rarely go hand in hand, but they're apt descriptors for this sage-walled Andersonville trattoria. Spend a summer evening in style and bypass the small dining room with decorative window panels, wrought iron accents and ceramic touches in favor of the tiny, romantic, flower-frocked patio in back where one can happily munch on a complimentary bite, perhaps a dandelion green tart. Marty Fosse (Spiaggia, Carlucci) has a modus operandi that works here, particularly when it comes to the array of antipasto salads---from a chewy mélange of farro, roasted corn, wax beans and cherry tomatoes to tangy, buttery onions redolent with thyme. Pastas like the tagliatelle with a ragù of prosciutto and crumbled veal and pork are good, but specials such as the roast suckling pig with pancetta, braised kale and grilled scallions are better---especially when matched with an affordable quartino from the all-Italian wine list. Service is so sincere you'll want to make lasting friends.

Review :
After several attempts to get a reservation on a Saturday evening, I was able to get a table for 2 on Saturday at 6:30 (I would prefer anywhere from 7:30 to 9:30).
We were seated immediately upon arrival and our waiter was courteous, swift and helpful. The first course we ordered was the mussels. This was absolutely delicious. For the second course, I had the lamb chops and my friend had the wide noodle dish with boar meat. Both were good, but not outstanding. The wine selection was good.
As we were finishing, several tables were opening up and remaining empty. Why was I advised that no seating was available after 6:30?
