Rhapsody Description:
Rhapsody has had a number of chefs over the years, but the kitchen has returned to harmony and is creating some very good---but not fussy---contemporary American food. This gracious restaurant borders on being swank with its white tablecloths, candles and elegant tableware. High-backed banquettes break up the room. Begin with the Berkshire pork belly with slow-roasted knob onions and local honey. Good follow-ups are the lamb T-bone with olive tapenade and brick-roasted game hen with broccolini, toasted fregola and pan jus. The service staff is informed and pleasant. If you are going to a performance at the Symphony Center next door, allow yourself enough time to dine leisurely. There's a first-rate wine list, one that covers a lot of geography; you'll find a good selection of wines by the glass as well as a handful of half-bottles.
