Rainforest Cafe Description:
Very "Rain Forest" atmosphere. Provides shopping area that will attrack kids, so be prepared to spend money on them. Very expensive. Some of your bill goes towards saving the rainforest. Very noisy because of entertainment from mechanical animals. Be ready for an adventure!
This is a fantasy place with a family atmosphere, and it's dense with activity---thunder and lightning, rain dripping from the ceiling, squawking birds. In a nutshell, you wouldn't want to spend too much time here, as it's noisy to a fault. It's as much a place to shop as to eat, and there is plenty of both going on. The menu offers up burgers, pasta, salads, pizza---all the basics. Each will cost you an arm and a leg---particularly given it's not the most delicious food you've ever had. Nonetheless, you should try the place at least once. Also located in Gurnee and Schaumburg.
