This classic Italian spot has earned its longtime following, and we can see why. Casually elegant, the small restaurant carries pleasantries over to its food. And you can't beat the prices. We rarely dine here without ordering the mussels in spicy tomato sauce. Needless to say, there's a whole range of pasta dishes (check the pillowy gnocchi) and good veal Monte Carlo with mushrooms, artichokes and eggplant as well. On another note, you'll find smoked salmon risotto and four-cheese rigatoni. It's a good place to take the kids since the pizza is first-rate.
