Erie Cafe Description:
This Italian steakhouse pairs meat with pasta creations and classics such as chicken Vesuvio and veal Parmigiano---often with success. But what we like more than anything is the fried ravioli starter that's kicked-up with pungent blue cheese. You'll also find familiar choices like calamari and prime rib. How good are they? Not bad, but in the pecking order of steakhouses in a city known for its high-quality meat, this place doesn't reach the top five. Desserts are pretty much a bore, but we do like the supper club atmosphere, oversize booths and killer riverside patio.
