General Rules:

Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at Kenan Stadium. Individuals violating this policy will be issued the appropriate citation and escorted out of the stadium.

ATM Machines
An ATM machine is located in Kenan Stadium behind Section 117 on the west end concourse.

Banners/Signs
Homemade banners and signs are not allowed inside Kenan Stadium without prior approval. The Carolina Athletic Association (a university-sanctioned student-run organization) is primarily responsible for producing all signs and banners seen inside Kenan Stadium.

Behavior Policy
The University of North Carolina wants its fans to be known for their support, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. We want to create a home-field advantage, but we want to do so in a respectful manner that makes us all proud to be Tar Heels.

In order to insure that everyone has a pleasant experience, it is up to each patron to act responsibly and to be considerate of those around them. Patrons should notify a member of the game management staff if someone is not complying with this policy, as we cannot help you if we do not know the behavior is taking place. Stadium operations will give offending patrons a warning, with repeated behavior resulting in ejection or arrest. Continued violations over a period of time may result in the loss of ticket privileges.

Event staff reserves the right to deem an act or behavior to be inappropriate based on available information and to take whatever action necessary.

Camera Policy
Point-and-shoot cameras are permitted at Kenan Stadium; however, video cameras may only used during pre-game and halftime.

Disability Seating
Seating for patrons with disabilities is available by contacting the Athletic Ticket Office (800-722-HEEL) in advance in order to make arrangements.

First Aid
Orange County EMS and Rescue Squad provides first aid at Gates 2 (North Side) and Gate 6 (South Side) at Kenan Stadium.

Food and Beverages
Patrons are not allowed to bring any food or beverages with them into Kenan Stadium. You will be asked to finish the items before entering, throw them out, or return them to your car. However, bottled water (sealed and unopened) is permitted.

Lost and Found
During an event you may check with game management staff at Gate 2 or 6 to see if an item of yours was found and turned in. After an event, all unclaimed items are turned over to Campus Police, and you may contact them at 919-962-8100.

Lost Children
Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member. That person will then contact the proper personnel to insure the quickest resolution to the situation.

If a child gets separated from his/her party, he/she should notify the nearest police officer event staff member. If the child knows his/her seat location, attempts will be made to return the child to that location.

- Beach Balls
- Coolers or containers
- Explosives
- Fireworks
- Folding chairs
- Food and beverages, except sealed plastic water bottles
- Illegal drugs
- Laser pointers
- Noise makers such as horns, bells, whistles, etc.
- Pets (except service animals assisting those with disabilities)
- Tape recorders
- Umbrellas (may not be opened in the seating area)
- Weapons of any kind, including those carried with a permit
- Any other item that in the judgment of game management staff poses a safety hazard or detracts from the ability of others to enjoy the event

Prohibited items must be returned to the owner's car or discarded. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of such items is subject to arrest.

Small purses, fanny packs, diaper bags, camera/binocular cases, and small bags are subject to be inspected prior to entry.

Smoking Policy
At all outdoor venues we ask that patrons smoke on the concourse or in the appropriate areas and not in the seating area.

Telephones
Payphones are available at Gates 2 & 6 at Kenan Stadium.

Ticket Policies
Patrons may contact the Athletic Ticket Office (800-722-HEEL) before an event in order to purchase a ticket, to inquire about seating for those with disabilities or to leave tickets at will call. If a patron has a ticket dispute during an event, please contact the nearest event staff member. The UNC Athletic Department is not responsible for and cannot guarantee the authenticity of any tickets purchased from someone other than a Ticket Office representative. Buyer beware!

Patrons may not leave the stadium and re-enter on their ticket stub.


Driving direction to Kenan Memorial Stadium:
From Virginia and Points North: Take I-85 South to Durham, N.C. Exit left at US-15/501 in Durham and follow 15/501 approximately 9 miles to Chapel Hill. Once in Chapel Hill, maintain 15/501 Bypass (Fordham Blvd.). Around the 7th stoplight, turn right on Manning Drive. Continue on Manning until first stoplight. Turn right at light onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/4 mile until the first road on the left (immediately after the visitor parking lot). Turn left on Stadium Drive. Kenan Stadium is on the left immediately after the Alumni Center.

From Points West: Take I-85 North towards Durham, N.C. Exit just past Burlington onto NC-54 East (exit #148, Chapel Hill). Follow NC-54 for approximately 20 miles to Carrboro. Go through two stoplights and stay on NC-54 until the next stoplight. Turn left at light onto Manning Drive. Continue on Manning until first stoplight. Turn right at light onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/4 mile until the first road on the left (immediately after the visitor parking lot). Turn left on Stadium Drive. Kenan Stadium is on the left immediately after the Alumni Center.

From Points East: Take I-40 West to Chapel Hill. Exit at NC-54 West (exit #273 A) and follow for approximately 4 miles. After the US-15/501 overpass, continue straight on NC-54 until the next stoplight. Turn left at stoplight onto Country Club Road. Make immediate right onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/2 mile until first road on the right (immediately after Francis E. Henry stadium). Turn right on Stadium Drive. Kenan Stadium is on the left immediately after the Alumni Center.

From Points South: Take US-15/50 North to Chapel Hill. Exit right onto 15/501 Bypass in Chapel Hill. Turn left at first stoplight onto Manning Drive. Continue on Manning until first stoplight. Turn right at light onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/4 mile until the first road on the left (immediately after the visitor parking lot). Turn left on Stadium Drive. Kenan Stadium is on the left immediately after the Alumni Center.
