Established by Homa Jahannia and her son, Ramin, this strictly vegetarian bistro, mostly featuring Persian cuisine, is a draw among vegetarians and fans of Middle Eastern flavors. The ample eggplant "paradise" and signature tempeh pomegranate stew, based on variations on dishes of the owners' native Iran, are standouts. We also recommend the salads, from a simple mixed green salad with creamy dill to a generous Greek salad. Once you've dined on such healthy fare, reward yourself with Sage's decadent vegan chocolate cake.
