Glasshalfull Description:
Owned by former wine distributors, Glasshalfull combines a bistro, bar and wine boutique in a sleekly restored historic warehouse. The bistro's original menu offered small plates exclusively, but has been updated to include dinner-size portions of chef Ricky Moore's distinctive contemporary cuisine. Moore's dishes are made from the freshest ingredients, enhanced by his subtle and intriguing flavor combinations. Mussels sautéed in escargots and citrus butter, beef shoulder braised with cinnamon, deep-fried catch of the day with pimento-oregano aïoli, chocolate pot de crème with a splash of rosewater, and hand-cut fries sprinkled with rosemary salt demonstrate Moore's deft touch with seasonings. A well chosen selection of bottles from the world's best vineyards makes up the wine list, and most are available for tasting in either three- or five-ounce portions. The adjacent wine boutique and bar is the spot for tasting wines and for private events.
