Bouchon has long been the talk of the town. Owner Mitch Sjerven and chef Brandon Hughes work with the best of the nearby Santa Ynez Valley: wines, farm-raised venison, rabbit and ostrich. Look for an intriguing array of dishes including pomegranate-marinated, char-grilled rack of lamb; pan-seared rack of venison; and bourbon-and-maple-glazed duck. The wine list is comprised exclusively of Santa Barbara vintners, and the glasses are Austrian Riedel crystal. Beer lovers will be pleased by the extensive selection of microbrews from around the world.
