Café Gratitude Description:
This restaurant serves vegan, raw food, meaning that it's not only meat- and dairy-free, but that nothing is heated above 115 degrees. Be prepared for a slightly New Age experience: dishes are whimsically titled, as in the "I Am Sensational" (pizza with pesto) and "I Am Thankful" (Thai coconut soup), but are surprisingly tasty and fresh. It's a communal dining experience, as most of the seating is at large tables where you are elbow to elbow with a mixed hippie-yuppie scene that is quintessentially Marin.
