The service can be excruciatingly slow here, so make sure you have time for a leisurely meal before you sit down. If you sit on the patio out front, you have a nice view across the parking lot of Libbey Park with its fountain and trees. A taste from the tequila bar will take the edge off. Glasses range in quality and price from $3-$45 per shot. Margaritas are made with fresh juices in the traditional lime or the not-so-traditional mango, orange or strawberry versions. The seafood tacos made with red snapper and homemade tartar sauce are a good bet. The burritos, filled with your choice of meat like carne asada, chicken marinated in annatto, or pork in chile verde sauce, are large and a great value at $6. You can even build your own by adding guacamole, cilantro, chilies, onions or more. Vegetarians have plenty of options here, including the unusual potato taquitos with rice and beans on the side. Salads are nice low-carb options with grilled meat or sautéed shrimp.
