About a dozen tables crowd a dining room cluttered with Japanese art and artifacts---traditional painting, elaborate kites, fountains, statues, masks, kimonos, and parasols---plus menu descriptions accompanied by childlike illustrations. The specialty here is Japanese pub food: potato and meat croquettes, gyoza, ahi burgers, fried chicken, and even a spaghetti salad that is better than it sounds. You'll also find soba noodles, tempura and some good quality sashimi.
