Baja Cantina Description:
On the road winding into sleepy Carmel Valley, there's a place lit with energy where you feel part of the party even if you are sipping tequila alone. Just look for what appears to be an old filling station, complete with pumps and vintage auto memorabilia. Occasional live music on the large outdoor deck and a speckled clientele of vacationing golfers, Harley riders or the entire Carmel High football team add to the character. A cocktail of large camarones refreshes just as well as the margaritas. Stop by Tuesday nights for the lobster special, a Mexican barbecue feast.
