Cucina Bene Description:
If the Valley is already saturated with Italian restaurants, why is this place so busy? Workers from nearby office buildings congregate here for lunch, but in the evening, the place is filled with local families looking for value. The menu is predictable, but pastas---like cheese ravioli in a walnut-infused pink sauce---are reliable. The elongated, thin-crusted pizzas, ranging from traditional margherita to a less conventional pie with tomato sauce, mozzarella, lox and cream cheese, are tasty and easily shared. We recommend the sweet pomegranate sauce on the salmon, but lament the less-than-stellar quality of the fish itself. Our biggest complaint, however, is the feeling that we are being hustled quickly through our meal, as the entrées may arrive before appetizers are finished.
