Begin with topnotch empanadas or a fine beef carpaccio piled high with a lightly dressed arugula salad before moving on to a selection of meat and pasta dishes. Gnocchi is served with Argentinean beef stew and a hearty porcini sauce, while a Milanesa-style chicken benefits from the ubiquitous chimichurri. A salmoriglio (lemon, garlic, olive oil and oregano) sauce is applied to grilled salmon, and the steaks are attractively priced. For dessert, consider a particularly rich flan or crêpes with apples and dulce de leche.
