Chomp (and its sister restaurant Riptide in Mission Viejo) is a more modern rendition of Benihana. You sit at the teppan tables if you want to order the dramatic meat, seafood and rice dishes tossed around on flat woks. Besides the drama, there's sushi chef Ken Cruz, who brings on super fresh and delightfully artistic classic sushi and signature fusion rolls. Chomp's menu also includes soups, salads, tempuras and entrées of chicken, pork, beef and seafood. Once the spot for a Hawaiian-themed Sunday brunch, Chomp only serves up this all-you-can-eat feast on Easter as well as Mother's and Father's days. There's also a very reasonable all-you-can-eat sushi buffet on Thursday evenings.
