Beverly Hills now boasts another swank Italian eatery in the Drago empire, Via Alloro, this time from brothers Giacomino and Tanino Drago, with former Valentino chef Giacomo Pettinari at the helm. The restaurant's décor is a departure from the traditional European style one what might expect. Rather, diners will find a modern space featuring a circular room as well as an outdoor patio. The luxe menu includes dishes such as grilled langoustine, handmade burrata ravioli and steak fiorentina, but diners may be tempted with daily specials like osso buco or Alaskan halibut with Sicilian caponata, ricotta lemon mousse and bail oil. A dazzling list of artisanal cocktails offers drinks flavored with unexpected ingredients---sage leaves, lychee juice and red bell peppers, to name a few.
