Princeton, BC, Town, pop 2610 (2001c), 2826 (1996c), 2839 (1991cA), area 10.24 km2, inc 1951, is located at the junction of the Tulameen and Similkameen rivers, 114 km W of Penticton. Originally known as Vermilion or Red Earth Forks, it was also called Similkameen and Allisons, after the first pioneer, John Fall Allison.
