Suzie's Soba Description:
The dining room is an aquatic fantasia: painted sea grasses undulate along minty green walls threaded with moss-studded grapevines and twinkling lights, all punctuated by large white cut-outs of exotic-looking fish. The Asian catch-all menu, too, is inventive. Some dishes---Korean noodle and dumpling soups, a Japanese donburi topped with tuna---hew closer to tradition than others. Sometimes things get wild, as in sun-dried tomato-and-herb green-tea buckwheat noodles. The results can be mixed, and sometimes quite salty, but the atmosphere is charming and the price just right. Also located downtown at 7 N. Calvert St., near the courthouse.
