The menu of home cooking demonstrates flair with sophisticated seafood and meat, richly sauced pastas, and vegetarian specialties. Several specials have hooked us, including moist grilled ruby rainbow trout crowned with shiitake mushroom-ginger cream sauce, and the skewered beef tenderloin tips with a spicy chili rub. Non-meat eaters may opt for the stuffed artichoke manicotti in tomato cream sauce, and crab-stuffed shrimp with lemon basil aïoli. On warm summer nights, we recommend the refreshing chilled fruit soups. The eclectic wine list is constantly being updated, and there's often a theme such as Woman Winemakers or Wines of Germany.
