Manuel's Tavern Description:
Marking a half-century of life as perhaps Atlanta's most notable tavern-cum-political spot, Manuel's offers about 20 beers on tap at all times as well as the best chicken wings, served with a house-made blue cheese dressing. The barbecued chicken dinner, baby-back ribs and Philly cheesesteak are high points, and the pork chops and meatloaf will give you enough to take home for another seating. Big screen TVs draw crowds for sports events, sometimes slowing service. On the first Saturday of each month, a comedy troupe, Laughing Matters, performs.
