Steakhouse 55 Description:
The former Granville's at the Disneyland Hotel is now Steakhouse 55. The décor evokes a Hollywood glamour feel, but don't expect over-the-top Disney decorations. Steakhouse 55 does feel like an upscale steakhouse, but the kids are still welcome here too. The menu features East Coast-meets-California fare like herb-crusted rack of lamb and a dry-rubbed grilled rib-eye. Before ordering up that expensive glass of wine, ask chef Jason Martin to help you choose. Happily, he'll escort you into his private wine cellar for a brief tasting of his by-the-glass selections. Both the strong cocktails and the decadent desserts are worth a try. If you can't get into Napa Rose inside Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, which is actually closer to both parks, Steakhouse 55 will satisfy your dining needs and the walk to the Disneyland Hotel through Downtown Disney is rather invigorating.
