Silverstone Circuit Description:
Parking:
Silverstone has made tremendous improvements to its parking facilities over the past few years. With new road layouts and hard standing car parks around the circuit, our parking arrangements now cater superbly for all those wishing to drive to the British Grand Prix.If you are staying in the local area in a hotel, guest house or on one of the campsites around Silverstone and do not require circuit parking, your event ticket will allow you access on foot through the checkpoints during the race weekend.
Circuit Parking - £15
Car Park passes are available subject to availability. One car park pass may be purchased per two-four admission tickets bought, at the discretion of Silverstone, i.e. 2-4 tickets purchased = 1 car pass; 5-8 tickets = 2 car passes, etc. If only one British Grand Prix ticket is purchased, one of the alternative options must be selected.
Please note that owners of vehicles not displaying the correct passes will be subject to a fixed penalty fee. Camping is not permitted in any of the car parks.
If you prefer to travel by motorbike, parking will be provided free of charge. By RoadFrom The South: Take the M40 and exit at Junction 10. Join the A43 signposted to Northampton. Silverstone is signposted from the A43. Take the M1 and exit at Junction 15a. Follow signs for the A43 to Oxford. Silverstone is signposted from the A43.

Public Transportation:
PARK AND RIDEAs in previous years, Silverstone will be offering a dedicated Park and Ride service to and from the circuit on the Sunday of the event. Two venues have been chosen to cater for traffic approaching the circuit from the M1 and M40.
The venues are:
M1 Sixfields Stadium, Northampton
M40 Hinton in the Hedges Airfield
If you opt for the Park and Ride option (which is free), please select which venue best suits your travel arrangements. Sites will open from 2am on Sunday for early arrivals, with the first buses due to leave for Silverstone at 4:30am. Return journeys will commence roughly half an hour after the end of the Grand Prix, with the last services leaving Silverstone at 7:45pm.
Full joining instructions and car/personnel passes will be sent to you with your tickets.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PARK AND RIDE VEHICLE PASSES WILL NOT GAIN ACCESS TO SILVERSTONE CAR PARKS.
General Rules:
Pets:No pets allowed as they can be frightened by loud noises. Please don't bring them and leave them in cars.
Cash Point:
This will be within the shopping area at the rear of the Pits Straight Grandstands and also at Vale on the outside of the circuit.
Food:
At Silverstone we believe high quality catering is an important part of your event experience. Brand new for the 2007 race, Aspire Hospitality will once again be providing an exciting range of food and refreshments for fans, developed by Steven Saunders - the celebrity chef better known for his frequent television and radio appearances, and as co-writer of 'Read Steady Cook'. A Fellow Master Chef of Great Britain (one of only 17 in the UK), Steven's passion for fresh, local and organic produce is sure be seen in the fantastic range on offer over the Grand Prix weekend.
Traditional hot snacks such as burgers, fish & chips, jacket potatoes and pies will still be available - but we're sure you'll find the numerous other options, and the quality, very tempting indeed.
