Captain Bill's Seafood Description:
A seafood restaurant also serving chicken, steak and pastas, overlooks Lake Mendota. A large dining room with lakeside seating is available as well as an outdoor patio with seating in the warmer months. A dining room adorned with nautical pieces and a circular fireplace. Captain Bill's is moderately priced. Seasonal, fresh specials are also available.
This family-friendly steakhouse offers all the usual suspects---flatiron, tenderloin, sirloin and New York strip---but any of the Captain's steaks can be served Oscar style (with crab meat, asparagus spears and hollandaise sauce), Admiral style (lobster meat and hollandaise sauce), Creole style (roasted red pepper sauce and sautéed shrimp) or Imperial style (Parmesan cream sauce and fresh lump crab meat). Seafood specialties range from mahi mahi that's grilled and smothered in mango-pineapple barbecue sauce to a Gulf red snapper filet that's dusted in Cajun seasonings, blackened and finished with mango-habanero glaze. In the summer months, Captain Bill's deck is the place to enjoy the sun or a cool breeze while dining.
