Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ Description:
The smoke wafts out of the chimney along busy Lee Road and Bubbalou's patrons know the slow-cooked meat is on the fire. Order at the counter, grab an icy beer from the big wooden tub, and take a seat at one of the picnic tables. We recommend the chopped pork sandwiches and the Texas caviar, cold black-eyed peas in a spicy vinaigrette. The ribs are so-so, not as meaty as we would like. You may prefer the chicken, lamb and smoked turkey, all cooked over an open-pit fire. Watch out for the killer sauce, it can destroy your taste buds. The place also offers drive-through service, a good idea since tables are limited.
