I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised at our experience this afternoon for lunch at Mongolie Grill. I went with my family, 3 kids and the wife, and we each got to make our own dish, with a vast selection of veggies, meats and sauces and watched the cook stir fry it up... Best parts were that the kids felt compelled to eat because they made it, and my wife and I got exactly what I wanted. Only down side is the whole process is very buffet like and takes a little time to get the food and cook it. My youngest was almost finished eating by the time my wife joined the table. Price was good for the kids too, as they got little bowls to fill which could not result in more than $5-$6 each. Lastly, the nutrition value could not be better for this type of food and kids.... THUMBS UP ALL THE WAY FOR MONGOLIE GRILL.

I always find it weird to go to buffet type places. This one takes it a step further... not only do you select your food buffet style, you have to wait in line for them to cook it. Next thing you know you will have to seat yourself and fetch your own diet coke. Then there is always this uncomfortable feeling with the bill... It is all by weight, so the more you eat, the more you pay. Also, do you tip? And if so, are you entitled to some of the tip?
My kids love this place, but I am not so fond. I think they like the idea of getting your food or something along those lines... for me, it's a pass!
