Review :
It is nice to finally go someplace in Whistler and only be ripped off a little.
My wife and I went to Ingrid's for a quick bite. Maybe it was because I was expecting very little, or maybe because the decor is so unpretentious and simple that you really think it will just be a run of the mill type of sandwich place... whatever the reason for my low expectations was unimportant as they were met head on with incredibly tasting food. Not only was this the best sandwich I have had in Whistler, it is one of the best sandwiches I have had.... period (except for hamburgers, which are in a sandwich class on their own).
I had the falafel burger and my wife a tuna sandwich. The bread was so fresh, it must have been baked with in the last couple of hours. The sauces so tasty, my mouth is watering just thinking back to it...
Total cost was about $17, which is not cheap for sandwiches, but definitely inexpensive for Whistler.
It will be a staple part of our whistler diet from now on...
