Beetroot Café Description:
The cozy Beetroot, tucked away in the Marketplace Mall, is where locals hang out before hitting the slopes. Breakfast is the main draw and it's available from 7:30 a.m. until noon. Fortify yourself with The Original---two free-range eggs poached or scrambled, four rashers of bacon, crispy fried hash browns, and thickly sliced multi-grain toast---or Belgian waffles with creamy yogurt and blueberries. At lunch, there are soups, salads and traditional Irish stew---the best of its kind in Whistler. Those who find the spot too cramped---there are only two dozen seats---opt for easy take-out.
