Cellar Bistro Description:
These days, most every neighborhood has a wine bar to call its own. And Wheaton is no exception. This comfortable corner storefront with Bordeaux-colored walls and a wine list that's heavy on biodynamic, organically grown, USDA certified organic and California certified organic farmer-derived selections also serves cheese platters and small, sharable plates. We are fairly indifferent to the crab cakes drizzled with lemon oil but find them filler-light and affordable given the portion. Mushroom-Brie soup, however, is an enjoyable meal all on its own. The dinner menu expands to include burgers and pepper-crusted sirloin.
