You're welcomed into the building through a portal of enormous cedar logs, and past a totem pole carved with figures from North Coastal Indian mythology. The dining room is equally impressive, with wrought iron and parchment lamps, banquettes adorned with Native American motifs, and a full-size canoe athwart a massive stone fireplace. The fare is directly tied to the earth with the kitchen featuring local ingredients from nearby farms pursuing sustainability. Entrées are familiar standbys prepared with a fresh twist: lobster ravioli, wild mushroom stuffed chicken breast, and bacon wrapped venison. Hudson's signature bread pudding is legendary and alone worth the trip.
