Just when you thought the 'burbs were getting too tame gastronomically, along comes an honest-to-heavens true Burmese eatery. We are delighted to find the fermented tealeaf salad and the young ginger salad as key components of the menu. Otherwise, the home-style cooking covers all the bases, with dishes ranging from the classic Burmese rice-noodle dish ohno kaukswe and the fish soup mohingar to luscious curries---beef, seafood, chicken and pork (the pork-and-mango version is a tribute to this rarely heralded Asian cuisine).
