The name Roberto Donna has become synonymous in the Washington metro area with Italian restaurants. The emphasis here is on hearty, peasant-style fare that features pizzas (with loads of funky toppings, including radicchio), pasta dishes with homemade sauces and spit-roasted chicken with roasted potatoes (a great take-home dish, for those on the run).
