Parking:
Pay parking, operated by Central Parking System (http://www.parking.com), is in effect throughout the entire park. Parking is available adjacent to the Aquarium, as well as in other lots within a few minutes walking distance.Parking rates are (from April 1, 2004 to September 30, 2004), $2.00 per hour and $5.00 maximum for the day. Meters accept either $2, $1, .25, .10 or .05 cent coins as well as major credit cards. Rates in effect 6:00a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day. Of course, if you take the bus, or ride a bike, you help out even more by keeping our park beautiful!
Public Transportation:
Translink offers regular service around the Vancouver area, running from 5 am to 2 am on most major routes. For $2 fare, take the #135 bus Monday through Saturday during the day, and #23 or #35 buses evenings, Sundays and holidays. Driving direction to Vancouver Aquarium:
The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre is located just five minutes west of downtown Vancouver in world-famous Stanley Park, at 845 Avison Way.
From downtown Vancouver, follow Georgia Street westward and bear right into Stanley Park. Once inside the park, you can follow the signs directing you to the Vancouver Aquarium.
