It takes guts to open a Southern barbecue spot in the heart of veggieville. All the Memphis favorites---ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, rib ends and smoked sausage---are well prepared here accompanied by classic sides of coleslaw, cornbread, potato salad or fries, and barbecue pit beans. The Elvis Platter weighs almost eight pounds and will serve six or more---think two linebackers. The wines including many Rieslings and fruity reds, are the good accompaniment to the meats. Service is minimal---order at the counter and listen carefully.

I love this place. Servers at the bar are always freshly cut and relaxed, so what if you gotta get up yourself to *GASP =0* grab your plate of ribs.
Portions are generous and even the sides are delicious. The meat has always been very tendy, smokey as can be and warm!
I had the catfish and it was great! Also awesome music!
