I'm not sure where the other two reviewers usually eat, but apprently it's not a good sushi place. This may be very genuine Japanese style service in Japan (it did remind me of the little shops in Tokyo) but it was not good flavors. The freshness was there, and the value was there. However I personally look for quality of taste/flavor more than I look for an abundance of food. This is good for people who think Anton's is real pasta, or great for students on a budget.
A $5 tapas gets you an enormous portion of fish (I'm guessing a good 4 ounces!) It's bland and uncreative, but big.
If you must go, then have at least the two items that had some semblance of flavor - the black code in a miso mayo and the grilled squid.
Good luck.
PS. It's NOT fusion.

On arrival, we were greeted by smiling people! They apologized by saying we had to wait a few minutes for our table, but we didn't mind at all.
After a few minutes, we were at our table ready for a great meal. I had cooked salmon and a variety of sashimi. My friend just had a variety of sashimi. I found the salmon very juicy and the sashimi very fresh.
Everything was all round great and very affordable. We will be back soon, and recommend any of you to go try them out.

One of the best Asian fusion type of restaurants in Vancouver! The ambience is phenominal. It's a place where you can drink with buddies and enjoy grilled stuff. The tables are made of bamboo as well. I love the pumpkin egg dish. It's one of the best. Also, the servers will shout out your orders to the chefs. Must make reservations or have to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated.
