I think I finally found a great Indian restaurant in Vancouver! My first visit was really good and one of the first things you'll notice is there are more Indians eating here than Caucasians, which is a good sign in my opinion - obviously the meal is going to be more authentic than a lot of other Indian places.
The food is not your normal Indian fare, so you have a chance to try out items you otherwise wouldn't have the chance to. The service was very personal with the owner coming to our table to see how things were and to even give us insight into the various dishes on the menu and explain how they're traditionally served. I will definitely be going back to Chutney Villa and encourage others who are looking for more traditional, home-cooked style Indian food, to visit as well.
