This restaurant is built around a beautiful character house on the cusp of Yaletown and Downtown. The staff are professional, courteous and connoisseurs of wine. The atmosphere is a bit boring and old fashioned, but their unique dinner creations make up for it. Expect to spend between $50-100 per person here. It's quite pricey, and I am unsure wether it is better to just go to La Terrazza or il Giardino. If you have experienced the others, it is worth a try... I can see some people liking this one more, depending on taste.

I took my g-friend to dinner here last May 24 weekend. We enjoyed the quaint and intimate atmosphere of this lovely old house turned restaurant. It doesn't have the most exciting atmosphere, however....The service was excellent and the food was /DELICIOUS! My gf and I shared the crispy veal sweet breads (just don't ask what they are), shoestring potatoes, braised greens and foie gras reduction for an appetizer. For the main dish, I had the beef tenderloin, foie gras stuffed morels and she had the Sable fish, wrapped in prosciutto and sage. No drinks, but the wine list is extensive, and no dessert, cause I'm fat - but it was hard to resist. At around $160 including the tip we felt that it was well worth it for the occasion.
