My byf took me here for Valentines Day. If you are reading these reviews in search of a romantic place to have dinner, or a great place altogether. GO HERE!!! The atmosphere is soothing, the staff are great and very knowledgable in their wines. Worth every penny you pay for the quality of this true Vancouver gem! We were so impressed by their knowledge and patience as they explained which wines they have that go best with their signature dishes and desserts. I don't know how many times I have recommended this place, but I know that my byf and I will be back every Valentines as its now the only one we will go to when we want a quiet intimate dinner for two. You will not regret this one.

I eat out quite alot, and this restaurant is so far the best restaurant I've been too! 2 of us went there for lunch and had a wonderful time.
We both ordered the lobster bisque and the onion tart to start. For the main courses we had the tiger prawns in a tomato base which was accompanied by great mashed potatoes and vegetables and the mixed halibut grill with salmon and prawns.
Everything was perfectly cooked. In addition, we were served crab tarts at the start of the meal and lemon sherbet soaked in liqueur after the main courses, courtesy of the chef - now that meant alot to us!
Dessert was next, and we had the choc cake with ice cream.
With 3 drinks each (6 total) and the food, the bill came to about $130.
We totally enjoyed the lunch, and will be back again.

I am now a local and have dined extensively in Vancouver. I used to hail from Quebec, so I KNOW FRENCH. I also am a competent cook and know what food should taste like. This restaurant has always been a five star score on each visit. The service is impeccable and the food out of this world. My husband began to hum in happiness by the second course.

We've been to Crocodile several times over the last year, and it has been very good every single time.
The food is simply amazing, especially the duck breast. This restaurant knows how to make duck properly.
Equally good is the service, which is, in a word, impeccable. The staff knows what to recommend, and know how to order the appropriate wine with the meal.
I think the only thing is the restaurant could do a little renovation.
This is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone.
