Every time I head to Cardero's there's always a great lively crowd and the staff are always energized. The restaurant sits right in a harbor and pretty much anywhere you sit, you're going to get a good view of the ocean, mountains and boats. This is a great place to take out of towner's because of it's solid menu and service. If you want to impress without scaring your guests, this is one of the best places to take them. The menu is more seafood fare, but they also offer up some very good meat dishes and salads. With a great wine and beer selection you know you're going to leave satisfied and dizzy! One of my favorite things about Cardero's is that they have a really comfortable lounge where you can have a seat and a drink whether you're heading home from work or you're waiting for your table to be ready. All this talk is making me hungry, I think I'll head there tonight!

Even though it's marketed as a seafood place, I find their steaks are insanely attractive as the seafood plates. I've been here couple times and every time I've left with smile on my face and stomach wishing for more. Service is excellent and the atmostphere really makes it one of the best places for social gatherings.

Honestly, the best part about this place is the view. There really is nothing like a Coal Harbour view on a nice, warm, sunny Vancouver day.
Food is good, especially the fish, but I would say not great. This is really a fun place to have a meal, but not a culinary experience by any means. Staff is friendly, and the restaurant is usually packed...

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants for seafood. I've been there on numerous occasions and have had pretty much every fish on the menu and have never been disappointed. Great service, great ambience, great patio and view AND an excellent selection of menu items for every taste. They've also got a great wine menu to go with every dish. It can get a little expensive depending on how many courses you have, but overall it's a great place when you're in the mood to be pampered.
