Deux Soleil is one of the grungiest joints in town, but like the music, it's rocking! If anything, it perfectly summarises Vancouver. Laid-back, friendly, and a bit gritty.
Be aware: The menu is 100% vegetarian, but don't let it scare you off, their bennies, burgers and other comfort food dishes will satisfy both your hunger and taste buds at a very reasonable price. It's a very kid friendly place and people of all hues and fashions are chilling and eating. A real friendly and alternative 'Commercial' atmosphere. Service only has 3 stars because you have to line up to order - but after that they are super-fast.
