The last reviewer was spot on.... what a fantastic spot. The two things I had last night were actually unbelievable
1- Strozzapreti - some sort of pasta with a smoked chicken in tomato sauce. Unbelievable.
2- Brussel Sprouts - If you cannot eat sprouts (or can't get your kids to eat them), try these. WOW!
Go to this location by 6:30. At that time, we had to wait 20 mins for a table. People that walked in after us by only 20 mins had to wait over 1 hour. By the time we left at 7:45, there were some people who were told the wait was 1.5 hours. ouch!

Been going to the Global group of restaurants for a while now, and must say that the Trattoria Italian Kitchen is by far my favorite. The atmosphere is a lot less snobby than the rest, and the food is on par, if not slightly better. The only things I dislike about Trattoria (rather than naming all the things I liked, which is everything) was the fact that you cannot make a reservation and the noise level in the place (too many tables in such a small place, with an exposed kitchen).
Of notables is the pasta sampler dish that allows you to sample 5 pastas on one plate.... out of this world... also enjoyed some of the specialty drinks.
