I will never eat there again. HUGELY overpriced for what you get. I couldn't believe I paid $38 for a slab on meat on my plate. No garnish, no veggies, nothing. Just a piece of meat. The veggies were al "a la carte", which means you have to pay for them separately.
Don't go there. Your money will get you more, and just as good food elsewhere.

Went to The Shore Club for a friend's birthday party in the private room in back... all was great. We ordered the seafood tower, which was probably one of the best seafood mixed dishes I have EVER had... yumm, getting hungry just thinking about it....
For my main I had the special Big Eye Tune, which they prepared with a sesame crust (not on the menu, but I asked) and my wife had the rib eye steak, both were great...
Dessert was the surprise... not only was it on the house due to my friends' birthday, but it was spectacular. It was called an Traditional Old Fashioned Brownie, which they serve a la mode with ice cream.... wow!!!!!

Went tonight for a business dinner. Had the Seafood Tower for 2 ($99), and let me tell you something... if you are a shellfish lover, this is the item for you. Crab, King Crab and Stone Crab, Oysters (3 kinds), large shrimp, lobster tails, scallops... yummmmmmm. Unbelievably good.
For main I had the Smoked Black Cod and my associate had the Rock Sole (daily special). Both very well done.
The atmosphere and service is excellent. But take it lightly cause the bill, especially with the tower above, is not for the faint of heart... $300 for 2 with tip and tax, no alcohol drinks... yikes, but yum!

Excellent restaurant and I will go there again and often. I'll get the caveat out of the way first. I ordered the Alsakan King Crab Legs entree and it was good but I've had much better and expected better. The waiter was pretty good but I asked of the legs were big and meaty and while subjective; if you've had big meaty crab legs then you know that the ones at the Shore Club are not great.
The thing I like most about the place is the decor. I eyeballed the food on other people's plates (as I always do) and the food looked generally good and I've heard from others that the meals are great. So, I look forward to eating there again and will likely order a fish dish (and pick off my wive's plate as I also often do).

First, the service could not have possibly been more attentive. The server was tremendously keen to continually offer to re-plenish our every drink. The food was of excellent quality and the side orders and appetizers were especially tasty. The pricing was on the high side as demonstrated by my $14 bowl of lobster bisqque.
The atmosphere was pleasant although the restaurant was not overly filled while we dined.
All in all, I would recommend The Shore Club for a nice dining experience. Nonetheless, for the more budget conscious consumers, it may be hard on the wallet.

The Atmosphere is quite impressive in this multi-million dollar restaurant. I was blown away... great bar for the cinq-a-sept people and the upstairs as a beautiful layout for the dinners.
Service is impeccable, as would be expected. The menu, at least the meat part, is identical to Gotham's, and the fish offering is tremendous. There were at least 15 different fish mains, with a fresh sheet containing another 5-6.
I had the trio of fish tartar to start... yummm, and then the Fresh Sheet's Big Yey Tuna, seared, and sesame encrusted (which they did by request) and it was outrageously good.
Topped off with fresh berries for dessert, which I must say, was the only thing that my entire dinner party though was lacking. Although the berries were good, they were sliced and served with whipped cream, kinda chincy. I expected more of the Morton's style huge berries plate, the kind that you can only find directly in California... but it was really a small concern out of the overall meal...
Way to go Gotham, another great place (same owners).

I am not one to get all crazy over new restaurants in the city, but this one made me do just that.
I went on opening night, and was immediately impressed with the Atmosphere. They heavily invested in this place, and it shows.
The Service was impeccable as well. You could tell that the staff was extremely well trained, pleasant, and knew their stuff. The owner's of Hy's and Gotham are behind this restaurant, so they know what they are doing...
Lastly the Food... This place is like a steakhouse, but instead of steak being the main item, it is lots of great quality fish, prepared in a myriad of ways, each customizable for the consumer (Grilled, Steamed, etc, and choice of sauces). And just like at Gotham, all the sides are a la carte.
I am REALLY IMPRESSED, and that says a lot... I will 100% repeat at The Shore Club.

My husband and I decided to check out Shore Club on it's 4th day since opening, and we were incredibly surprised to find it almost empty! It is a huge, beautifully decorated, elegant restaurant with an incredible lounge area. My husband and I shared the chopped salad, which had fantastic ingredients, but the wine vinegar dressing was a bit short on taste. One of the special dishes was John dore fish - one of the best i've had since living in Vancouver! My hubby's maple cedarplank salmon was also really tasty. All the sides are a la carte, and they also looked fantastic (we snooped around, since we weren't very hungry). The service was very good, and we will definitely be back! Hopefully, it will be a bit busier next time, as they certainly put a lot of time and money into creating a total dining experience for their patrons!
