Rare Restaurant is one of those places that really put a lot of energy into the fine points of what makes a restaurant great. From the complimentary minitoast with guacamole and proscuitto to the extremely attentive staff, Rare seems to have a formula that works. I took my wife there and we had a really great time from the ambiance to the quality of food and service, we left Rare feeling very satisfied from having our appetites appeased as well as getting top-notch service from very well informed staff. I had the pepper crusted Canadian Striploin which was not a huge portion but was accompanied by a good assortment of veggies and potato as well as being prepared exactly to what I asked. It can get a little pricey, but what is the price you're willing to pay for excellence?
