The Mount Edgcumbe Hotel and Restaurant in sited on The Common at the edge of Tunbridge Wells. It offers a choice of dining atmospheres. The lively Brasserie provide a warm, friendly ambiance; while the Bar has an authentic 8th century candle-lit cave, hollowed out from the local sandstone rock.
The brasserie menu features a broad range of international and traditional English specialties with roasts available on Sundays. The bar offers a wide selection from Highland malts to our locally brewed ales.
The hotel has attracted residents since the late 18th Century when it became the summer lodgings of Lady Emma Edgcumbe, and later the home of Admiral William E Parry. Today the hotel has five rooms all en-suite; two singles, one twin and two doubles.
