Le Métro Description:
This chic wine bar gets somewhat crowded with guests from The Levin hotel upstairs, and locals and dropping in and can be very noisy. Le Métro has made its name on its considerable and notable wine list, with some 50 wines by the glass. The food is sharp, too, starting with breakfast (continental with good pastries, or a hearty English fry-up). The lunch and dinner menu includes the likes of fish 'n' chips or cottage pie and a good range of salads and sandwiches. A smaller snack menu around teatime offers savouries like smoked salmon bagels and desserts.
