Union Café Description:
Union Café, owned by the Brinkleys group, mainly delivers the goods. It's an enticing, light and airy space with wooden floors, tables and chairs and an open kitchen. They run an all-embracing menu, with the likes of oak-smoked salmon alongside Caesar salad. Mains are just as straightforwardly appealing as in roast chicken with mushrooms, roast sweet potatoes and green beans or roast rack of lamb with grilled courgettes and roast vine tomatoes. Service is friendly; the wine list is very good with not-greedy mark-ups and interesting finds.
