First Edition Description:
The décor is elegant black and white in this sleek modern glass building which buzzes all day. Two areas cater for all comers: there's a bar which really comes into its own in the evening and a spacious, airy dining room. In balmy weather the permanent, all-weather patio gets pretty crowded. The menu in the restaurant surfs the world from rib-eye steak and fishcakes to crunchy coconut prawns and swordfish tandoori. It's all well cooked which is clearly good news for those dining on a shorter version in the bar. The wine list is topnotch, with good wines fairly priced and enthusiastically ordered by the Docklands clientele.
