The Auld Dubliner Description:
The Auld Dubliner serves Irish dishes and pub-food in a dining room of imported Irish furnishings. Live Irish music used to be featured on Fridays and Saturdays, but for now televisions and recorded Irish rock are the entertainment.
Boxty dishes--stews rolled into a potato pancake--are the house specialty, but one can also get grilled chicken, a smoked salmon salad, corned beef and cabbage, or American buffalo wings, hamburgers and french fries. The full bar features Strongbow cider, Guinness, and Smithwick's in addition to $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon, a reminder that there's a college a thousand feet away. Redbreast and Jameson Gold are no longer served, but the Dubliner still features a considerable number of Irish whiskeys.
A spacious backroom is available for meetings and private parties
