NoRTH Description:
North attracts an eclectic mix of folks, thanks to its chic, comfortable vibe and modern Italian menu that holds no shortage of good choices. And since this is a Fox Restaurant Concepts eatery, you know the wine list will be well-built. Our go-to starter is the fried-to-a-golden-brown calamari tossed with a touch of grilled lemon all served on peppery arugula. Or perhaps this time it'll be the translucent zucca (zucchini) chips. Pizzas are winners, too, with choices ranging from a traditional margherita to the prosciutto, fig and goat cheese pie. We also suggest the short ribs, prepared osso buco-style with sides of creamy white polenta and roasted vegetables. There's always a daily fish special, as well. Round out the meal with the panna cotta and fresh berries.
