Montana Avenue Description:
The menu at this eastside eatery reads like an ode to America's rich culinary diversity. From the tuna tartare tacos dashed with avocado, wasabi and aged soy to the luscious Kentucky bourbon bread pudding, dining here is both modern and traditional. There's always pasta on the menu, usually a quirky take on ravioli. The braised short rib is a favorite as are the twin Kobe burgers served on brioche buns. Sides include mac 'n' cheese laced with andouille and mascarpone creamed corn. This is one of those places where you should really leave room for dessert. The only question is, which one to choose? We suggest the cinnamon-sugared donut with vanilla custard and marmalade, which conjures up sweet memories of childhood notched up for grown-ups. Being a Fox Restaurant Concept restaurant means the wine list is short, smart and well-balanced.
